Nori Table

The Nori Table tackles two challenges of living in today’s fast paced and high density urban cities. It is designed for those who work at home but do not have the luxury of a dedicated work space; and those who work hard but also enjoy spending time with family and friends.

In Workstation mode, the desk features a built-in task lamp, A4 portrait height pinboard, power extension sockets, and hooks that function as phone/tablet stand or headphone stand. In Dining mode, Nori functions as a 4-6 seater dining table. All the clutter from ‘work’ is organized and stored within the table allowing the user enjoy ‘life’.

Ease of use was carefully considered when designing Nori. The table can transform between the two modes without additional attachments or detachments. The pin board is also designed so that paper can roll up without creasing.

Nori is constructed from eco-friendly and recycled materials. The main structure is constructed from FSC birch plywood and recycled aluminium arms on both sides. 2-ply 100% wool felt fabric is used for the pinboard, giving enough thickness for standard thumb tacks while remaining flexible to fold.
