Groundswell

Groundswell is a place that brings together people through their mutual love of food and surfing. Its design draws inspiration from the surfing havens of Southeast Asia with abundant sub-tropical beach and wave motifs. An undulating rattan lampshade hangs above the bar that is clad in layers of wavy stacked glass. A pair of palm trees frame the approach to the surf pool and a pair of sculptural trees help illuminate the main dining area. Rounded booth seats buffer the raised “Beach” adjacent to the wave pool. Playful light features are scattered throughout the space for visitors to discover. Are these fish in the ocean? Or are they surf boards on waves?
